About MF Fencing LLC · Yakima, WA

A family-run fence crew, and the owner bids every job himself.

Dustin Owen started the business in 2021. He walks the fence line, writes the bid and posts the finished work on Facebook in his own words. This page is who he is and what the paperwork says.

The short version

Licensed since January 2021, bid by the owner

MF Fencing LLC has held its Washington contractor licence since January 2021. The owner is Dustin Owen, and the state record lists Lisa Owen as a partner. One of the customers who wrote a review calls the business “the Owen's and their crew,” which is about as good a description of a family-run outfit as you will get from the outside.

Dustin does the bids himself. Donald Farmer wrote that after a wind storm damaged his mother-in-law's fence and gate, almost every company he called showed no interest, and then “owner Dustin immediately responded.” Jim Hilton wrote that Dustin came out, looked the job over and asked what he was thinking. The same voice shows up on the business's Facebook page, where the posts are plain, first-person and a little playful.

Daren Kessler first hired MF Fencing in 2021, when they bought their first house. He has had the business back out for three more projects since. Of the owner he wrote: “The Owner is honest, reliable and professional.” LeeAnn Delk came to MF Fencing with a custom fence that every other company she called said would be “too much work,” and she wrote that MF Fencing “was excited to do it.”

The focus is residential fencing: cedar privacy, black and galvanized chain link, gates, repairs and the railings and welded pieces that go with them. The commercial work is real too. Proper Builders LLC had about 400 feet of 6-foot chain link installed, and Dustin finished a 6-foot galvanized job for a former gym with a man gate, a double drive gate and a 28-foot slide gate. The shop answers to Yakima and the Yakima Valley, and the phone is (509) 594-9013.
